Yesterday, while I was sitting on my deck enjoying the beautiful spring weather, I saw my first butterfly of the year. So, I know that spring has finally arrived after a rather dreary and very cold winter. I really enjoy photographing butterflies and have created many products from what I consider my best butterfly shots. In this post, I thought I would share some of my butterfly merchandise with you as well as some nice flowers to plant to attract butterflies. You can view some of my butterfly photography products as well as others I thought you might enjoy. Attention penguin lovers, there's some really great penguin gifts and merchandise out there on the internet but it isn't always easy to find them. I'd like to show you a few places to find some unique penguin products. We'll of course start with some that I've designed. I drew the cute little penguin on the right back in the late 1990's for a craft project, a napkin holder to be exact. I gave those projects as Christmas gifts that year but that's for a different thread. I have now posted my cartoon penguin on a variety of products in my Zazzle store. My penguin merchandise includes some fun t-shirts, apparel, mousepads, coffee mugs, binders, stickers, cards, tote bags, and more.

Ladybug Merchandise and Gifts

I must admit I am a Ladybug lover. There is just something about these little red and black bugs. I know they're kind of cute and are said to bring Good Luck. I have been drawing the cute little ladybug shown on the right for many years now and use it for my aviator in many online forums. Since opening my new shop that features my artwork, my little ladybug is now available on a variety of merchandise and gifts including t-shirts, tote bags, coffee & travel mugs, mousepads, greeting cards and even shoes.

I am often inspired when I see the wonderful talents of other artists. This can certainly be said for an artist I ran across recently, her name is Renee Fukumoto. I recently opened a new Zazzle shop featuring my own artwork and soon learned of some very gifted artists there. Renee's shop, Ravenwood Studio was one I ventured into and was truly blown away at the passion that is reflected in her artwork. She specializes in horse, animal and nature art using a variety of mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, pastel pencils, pen & ink, and digital photography.

I'm so excited to finally launch my new shop that features my artwork. Buzz the bee (this websites mascot) is just one of many characters I have created through the years. I enjoy drawing these cute little animals and bugs and now they are available to purchase on a variety of products and merchandise. I also offer some of my wildlife and nature photography as well.

I was very touched to see this photo today and to see how Legacy Learning Systems guitar courses are making a difference to people worldwide. The Learn and Master Guitar Courses are known for having top quality instructional courses for learning to play the guitar, piano and other instruments. They know that the beauty of music is international and have donated over $10,000 of their instrument learning courses to charity, like the guitar course the little boy James is holding. One of the reasons I was so touched by Legacy Learning Systems actions was that it made me think of when I started to learn how to play the guitar.
